MIT Quest for Intelligence
Visual identity, signage, and print design
The MIT Quest for Intelligence is an interdisciplinary initiative launched in 2018 that explores the relationship between human and artificial intelligences. The Quest is the first major step in MIT’s mission to become the thought leader in human intelligence research and the development of AI.
We designed a symbol for the Quest that is both a literal representation of a thought bubble and a monogram of the letter Q. The logo’s circular motif is used across the system, particularly in print layouts, online, and in animations.
In addition to the overall core brand identity and guidelines, we designed a suite of collateral utilizing the circular motif derived from the symbol.
